Methodology
HOMECAMP follows traditional tried and true project methodology comprised of four stages: Analysis, Design, Development and Delivery. This methodology is used where and when it is applicable to each specific project.

Analysis
The Analysis Phase is the most comprehensive and complex step of any project and includes analysis of the Current Business Process Model, New Requirements, Research, Strategic planning, Affirmation of short term and long term goals and Recommendations and Opportunities. It relies on information provided by an existing Marketing Plan or conversely may provide the raw material that will help to build a Marketing/Business Plan. Analysis and redevelopment of each website is done through formal standardized UML Techniques such as Customer Segment Descriptions, Workflow and Business Process Models, Use Cases Analysis, Business Object Modeling and Implementation Diagrams, and Benefits of the Proposed Business Process, etc. The Analysis Phase may also look at Creative Strategy and how the visual elements will support specific marketing goals (often a separate document deliverable). The Analysis Phase is the time to dream, imagine and define all that can be accomplished with the brand/product and to define what parts of that vision may be accomplished at what time.

Marketing/Business Plan (Optional)
The Marketing/Business Plan is the foundation of any successful business venture. It includes background material and the results of Analysis that were used in developing the strategy. This document defines the way an organization will be successful and describes the work necessary to implement their strategy. Generally the difference between a Marketing Plan and Business Plan is the Business Plan includes financial information and the Marketing Plan includes more specific information about promotion. A hybrid or combination of both plans is recommended for more complex projects.

Design
After the Creative Strategy has been defined, actual work on the look and feel of the work is completed. The graphic design is developed and finalized. A GUI (Graphical User Interface) Style Guide is completed which guides the rest of the design process. A prototype design is crafted and Storyboards are drawn. The Design Phase also includes the organization of content, i.e. the Information Architecture. Labeling, navigation, indexing, searching, and overall structure of site and individual documents is accomplished during this Phase.

Development
Development is the actual execution of the Analysis and Design that has been set out in the previous phases. During Development new components are built or existing components are reused and assembled into the final product. Development also includes system integration, performance and usability testing. And along the way the development is measured against the original stated goals of the business and the Project Schedule is updated accordingly.

Delivery
The Delivery Phase is when the website or project is signed off and opened to the public. Delivery may also include a Publicity Campaign as outlined in Marketing Plan. Training on usage and administration of the website will be done where needed and Search Engine Placement and Ad Placement may be accomplished where appropriate.
